ModelRailwayEngineer has made it through the nomination round for the 2018 British Model Railway Awards and now it’s your chance to vote for the winners.
These awards are now closed. To vote in the 2019/20 awards, click here.
I’m delighted and honoured that this website — ModelRailwayEngineer — is included this year and is one of just 10 websites eligible for the BMRA 2018 Website of the Year award.
It’s an honour to be amongst the likes of Graham Muspratt, Hattons, Hornby and others in the awards.
The voting takes place between 1st and 20th January 2019, with the winners being announced on RMweb and British Railways Modelling Magazine in the Spring.
If you would like to support the site and vote for it in the awards, vote now.
The Website Of The Year award is towards the end of the survey. Please scroll down and just select ModelRailwayEngineer from the drop-down list.
(There are a number of other award questions, but you don’t have to answer them all. Just select the ‘No answer’ option in the drop down of choices if you don’t have a preference.)
As I’ve mentioned before, it’s just me on my own doing all the writing, photography, coding, testing and researching the free tips and articles here, and your vote would really encourage me to continue the work.
Thank you for your support.
Andy
PS: Don’t forget, voting closes on 20th January so vote now.
Andy is a lifelong modeler, writer, and founder of modelrailwayengineer.com. He has been building model railways, dioramas, and miniatures for over 20 years. His passion for model making and railways began when he was a child, building his first layout at the age of seven.
Andy’s particular passion is making scenery and structures in 4mm scale, which he sells commercially. He is particularly interested in modelling the railways of South West England during the late Victorian/early Edwardian era, although he also enjoys making sci-fi and fantasy figures and dioramas. His website has won several awards, and he is a member of MERG (Model Railway Electronics Group) and the 009 Society.
When not making models, Andy lives in Surrey with his wife and teenage son. Other interests include history, science fiction, photography, and programming. Read more about Andy.
