It’s that time of year again when we share love and goodwill.

No, not Christmas but the British Railway Modelling Awards nominations.
It’s a great opportunity to put forward the names of the businesses and products that have helped your railway modelling this year.
There’s also a website category where you can put forward the website that has been the most useful to you. If this website, ModelRailwayEngineer, has been a help, inspired or solved a problem with your layout please enter modelrailwayengineer.com in the field provided.
Nip over to the awards website and get nominating.
Thanks and good luck to all those nominated.
Andy
ModelRailwayEngineer.
PS: Of course, don’t have to nominate this website but I put a huge amount of time, effort and energy into maintaining the website writing the free articles and tips here and would really appreciate your nomination if you do feel inclined. Thanks.

Andy is a lifelong modeler, writer, and founder of modelrailwayengineer.com. He has been building model railways, dioramas, and miniatures for over 20 years. His passion for model making and railways began when he was a child, building his first layout at the age of seven.
Andy’s particular passion is making scenery and structures in 4mm scale, which he sells commercially. He is particularly interested in modelling the railways of South West England during the late Victorian/early Edwardian era, although he also enjoys making sci-fi and fantasy figures and dioramas. His website has won several awards, and he is a member of MERG (Model Railway Electronics Group) and the 009 Society.
When not making models, Andy lives in Surrey with his wife and teenage son. Other interests include history, science fiction, photography, and programming. Read more about Andy.
