I try to go to a lot of model railway shows but the one event I never miss is the Warley National Model Railway Exhibition. Here are the essential details for the 2018 show.
Of all the events model railway enthusiasts can go to during the year Warley is the big one.
It is quite simply the biggest and best model railway event of the year!
Bachmann, Hornby, Peco, Graham Farish, and your other favorite manufacturers will all be there along with almost 150 traders, including the main dealers, and LOTS of model railway and train layouts to see, watch and view. By my counting, there are approx. 90 layouts, spanning all scales and gauges including Z, N, OO, HO and G, this year. There are also numerous modeling demonstrations over the two days.
Watch these video from the show in previous years to get an idea of what the 2018 exhibition will be like or read my review of the show last year.
When and Where in 2018
The Warley National Model Railway Exhibition 2016 takes place over the weekend of November 24th and 25th at the NEC Birmingham. Doors open at 9.45am on Saturday.
How To Get There
The National Exhibition Conference Centre is easy to get to by car, train or even plane. Journey planning details are available here.
Where to get tickets for the Warley Model Railway Exhibition
Tickets for the show can be bought at the entrance on the day or in advance online. I’d recommend getting them in advance to avoid wasting time queuing on the day. Tickets can be purchased here.
