How to paint eyes

how to paint miniature eyesLook into my eyes. Not my eyes, those on my models. They’re not good. But after following the tips here, I can see them getting a lot better. Enough of the puns, let’s get onto the tips.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder may be true but even I know that when it came to painting the eyes on figures and miniatures mine were many things but beautiful certainly wasn’t one of them.

They’d got a lot better after following these tips to face painting but my eye work still leaves a lot to be desired.

But this 20 minute video from has opened my eyes to a whole new approach and much better results.
